Mercedes-Benz of Orange County is Officially Open!

Benzel-Busch’s long-awaited New York location has officially opened its doors. The private Grand Opening celebration, which took place on Thursday, April 19, welcomed guests to view the new state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz showroom and celebrate the new chapter for the beloved dealership.

Mercedes-Benz of Orange County is located in the heart of Harriman, an area that Benzel-Busch specifically selected due to its well-known affluence. The New York town features the Woodbury Commons, a shopping center that is comprised of top designer brands such as Balenciaga, Loro Piana and Oscar de la Renta, as well as top-rated wineries and West Point.

“There are some great partnering opportunities,” says J. Agresta, President of Benzel-Busch. “We don’t want to just move up there to sell cars. We want to be a part of the new community.”

The dealership has already established a relationship with West Point’s Johnny Mac Foundation, the beneficiary organization of the Grand Opening event. The foundation focuses on granting scholarships to the families of fallen soldiers and veterans.

The Grand Opening celebration was a night filled with fun for guests and Benzel-Busch staff members. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a live performance by notable jazz duo Electric Psychology and music by Hot 97’s DJ Wallah, as well as passed hors d’oeuvres.

As guests walked around the facility, Mercedes-Benz’s newest vehicles were on display including the coveted G Wagen, which also was used to drive through the official ribbon earlier in the evening. They also admired a cake created by Palermo’s Bakery, which resembled a red Mercedes-AMG GTR.
