Virtuoso V by Bovet
The iconic chronometer, conceptualized in 2015 by Bovet, has resurrected at this year’s Salon 2018 with a new, sleek look. The difference is all in the dial, which takes up the entirety of the timepiece’s face. Featuring an original guilloche motif on the base, the Virtuoso V was then “applied a dozen layers of translucent blue lacquer” before watchmakers polished it to perfection.
When it comes to functionality, the Virtuoso V boasts two different complications: jumping hours and retrograde minutes. A process that is timed perfectly by the creators and very difficult to accomplish, says the brand, but that didn’t stop them. As a result, Virtuoso V is a part of the Fleurier Complications Collection. The luxury face is also created with the Amadeo convertible case that is patented. Because of this function, it can be turned into wristwatch, table clock or a pocket watch.
Besides the complex complications, the Virtuoso V is fashioned with a 18k red or white gold casing and full skin alligator strap that pulls together the whole look of the timepiece. With a power reserve of five days, wearers of the Virtuoso V will look dapper wherever they sport it.
