Women’s Rights and Information Center Celebrating Community Changemakers

On May 2, Benzel-Busch joined the Women's Rights and Information Center at Morton's The Steakhouse in Hackensack as a Golden Key Sponsor for the group's annual spring fundraising event. This year's theme was "Empowering Women to Empower Themselves" and was emceed by Nina Pineda of WABCTV. Women honored during the evening included Lauren Hersh, Maxine Frampton, Angelae Wilkerson, Lucy Feaster and Modiani Kitchens, while Susan Del Rio and Dawn Diaz were presented with the Phoebe Seham Award. A silent auction was held, which included a chance to win a table for six at Rao's in New York City, tickets to Live with Kelly and the Ellen Show, and a signed baseball by New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia.
