Heaven on Earth
The SoJo Spa club elevates New Jersey's luxury Gold Coast to spectacular new heights.
Heaven on earth just became a reality. Along with signature stunning views and easy access to city life, residents of New Jersey’s Gold Coast now have the luxury of living in close proximity to the state’s newest urban resort, the SoJo Spa Club.
The SoJo Spa Club is everything you could want it to be: an eight-floor oasis where you can escape the whirlwind of everyday responsibilities and unwind. Leaving your troubles at the door is a must-do here.
Troubles aren’t the only things you’ll be leaving behind: you’ll also be slipping off your shoes. In true Korean spa fashion, the 240,000-square-foot facility is the ultimate barefoot experience, greeting you with heated floors that run throughout the spa’s eight levels. Upon arrival, you receive an access wrist badge (which doubles as a locker key) and a line of credit so you don’t have to worry about toting your wallet around. The SoJo Spa also supplies colorful loungewear (shirt and shorts). Comfort is the key to relaxation, after all.
You roam the facility at your leisure. An admission pass grants all-day access to the saunas, pools and bath areas. You also can book spa appointments to further enhance your repose.
The SoJo Spa Club offers 10 saunas and therapy rooms, including far-infrared, red clay, white clay, Himalayan salt and charcoal saunas, as well as an ice room, ganbanyoku beds and halotherapy. Collectively, these provide a host of therapeutic benefits, including improved blood circulation, release of internal toxins, immune boosts, body detoxification and energy elevation, to name a few.
You also can revive mind and body in SoJo Spa Club’s therapy pools and baths. Powerful water jets boost your circulation and provide massage as you enjoy breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline. The outdoor hinoki offer carbon-rich silk baths that emit antibacterial oils, improving blood oxygen levels and skin elasticity. There also are a 170-foot foot massage walking path, a family pool and a rooftop infinity pool open from spring to late fall.
Although you can spend the entire day in the saunas and pools if you wish, the SPA at SoJo Spa Club is another must-experience highlight. It already has a stellar reputation as the first and only New Jersey spa to carry the premier brand ESPA, whose luxury products are offered in top Manhattan hotels such as the Mandarin Oriental and Peninsula. The SPA offers lavish treatments such as a 60-minute marine sea body wrap and 90-minute Balinese massage as well as express manicures, pedicures and massages.
Before you head out for the day, make sure you stop by the casual dining area to grab a Juice Journey smoothie or an out-of-this-world ramen bowl from an array of menus.
The best is yet to come for the SoJo Spa Club. It will soon unveil a full-service restaurant that seats up to 80 people as well as a hotel, all but ensuring this will become one of New Jersey’s hottest weekend getaways. For more information about the SoJo Spa Club, please visit SoJoSpaClub.com.
