Last fall, Jasper Conran—renowned British fashion designer—opened up his first-ever hotel, L’Hotel Marrakech in Morocco. Last week, Conran opened up the luxury hotel’s dining room and roof terrace to non-hotel guests, so they could come experience the exquisite dishes for lunch and dinner.

L’Hotel Marrakech is known for using fresh ingredients in all of its dishes and creating a traditional Moroccan meal. Dishes served at the hotel include traditional Moroccan salads; chicken with prunes and almonds; fish, potatoes, red peppers, tomatoes and paprika chermoula and couscous with seven different vegetables, jew to name a few. Too top it all off, guests can enjoy dishes such as figs with syrup or fresh peach sorbet for dessert.

According to the hotel, Chef Bouchra utilizes other key Moroccan ingredients to create delicious plates including lemons, sun-drenched tomatoes, courgettes, potatoes, pumpkins, carrots and turnips, just to name a few. He also incorporates a plethora of Moroccan-based spices such as fresh coriander, parsley, turmeric and cinnamon.

The hotel’s dining room is decorated beautifully. Think Egyptian cotton table covers, bold-colored chairs and an exquisite fireplace that is lit on cooler evenings. For those looking to take in a scenic view while enjoying their meal can dine out on the roof terrace. Diners will enjoy views of the Atlas Mountains as well as local orange, fig and olive trees.

Wherever you choose to dine, L’Hotel Marrakech lends an incredible experience to all. To visit L’Hotel Marrakech, visit l-hotelmarrakech.com.
