Bulgari Launches Goldea, The Roman Night

There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that Bella Hadid has taken over the fashion world by storm. With multiple runway shows all over the globe, a newly landed Vogue cover, and now, the beauty is the new face of Bulgari’s newest fragrance Goldea, The Roman Night. 

 

The seductive fragrance pays homage to La Città Eterna aka Rome, especially during the dusk hours when the stars are out to shine. Goldea, The Roman Night will be the newest addition in the fashion house’s Goldea collection, which already features perfumes including Rose Goldea and Goldea. The collection ties into Bulgari’s famed Serpenti collection, by showcasing scents that are rich and powerful like the Egyptian Ruler Cleopatra. 

 

Goldea, The Roman Night, created by master perfumer Alberto Morillas, channels the scent of chypre, a floral/musk fragrance. The scent is powerful in and of itself; but mixed with top notes of mulberry and black peony and middle notes of blooming jasmine and tuberose absolute, the smell intensifies, leaving the wearer with an unforgettable aroma. Basenotes of black musk, patchouli heart and vetiver top it off, adding a subtle masculine twist to its floral femininity. 

 

The bottle is just as mesmerizing as the scent. Goldea, The Roman Night comes packaged in a refined black bottle with two subtle curved silver lines. Its cap, embellished with gold and black, sits on top of the bottle enveloped in a clear bubble lid. An elegant addition to your collection that you can not only wear, but show off as well. 

 

To expose the world to its newest fragrance, Bulgari hosted an extravagant event at the Spanish Steps in Rome to unveil it. Accompanied by Bella Hadid herself, the supermodel descended the famed staircase alone and met Jean Christophe Babib, the CEO of the House, at the bottom. The celebration continued with a performance by Irish superstar Róisín Murphy and then moved to the Palazzo Nunez Torlonia for an after party celebration.

 

The fragrance launched this month at Bloomingdale’s and online at Bloomingdales.com, and will retail for $95 (50ml) and $114 (75ml).
