Experience! The Finger Lakes Celebrates the 10-Year Anniversary of its Culinary Festival

Are you heading to the Finger Lakes this summer? If not, the beautiful destination trip should be on your summer list! This year, Experience! The Finger Lakes will be hosting a Culinary Festival in honor of the company's 10-year milestone.

The event, which will be held on Sunday, June 18 from 12-5 PM, will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your summer vacation. With a variety of luxe culinary experiences, this event will be the perfect trip to take with someone who is a food aficionado.

“This is a really exciting event for our region,” says co-founder Laura Winter Falk in a press release. “Not only is everything delectable, but we also made sure to strategically pair artisan food producers next to specific beverage producers for fun ad hoc pairing opportunities. What’s even better is each producer will also be selling their featured products so you can bring the deliciousness home with you. This allows attendees to stock up while they are here, and avoid a separate trip up to the lakes!”

Throughout the day-long event, there will be numerous local vendors attending including, but not limited to: wines, beers, ciders, spirits, coffees and teas, cheeses, charcuterie and artisan sweets. Vendors include Barry Family Cellars, Damiani Wine Cellars, Finger Lakes Distilling, Ithaca Coffee Company, Emmy’s Organic and Life’s So Sweet Chocolates, just to name a few.

Besides various vendors, Experience! The Finger Lakes will also be hosting three presentations for guests to attend including a cooking demonstration from Food Network Star finalist Emma Frisch and a cocktail-making demonstration by Stonecat’s Cafe’s sommelier Josh Carlson.

If you want to partake in an even more elevated experience, guests have the option to purchase VIP passes. The VIP part of the festival is sponsored by Coltivare and features a specialized sponsored section that includes one of six culinary presentations as well as an additional cooking or wine pairing class sponsored by Coltivare.

“We can’t wait to bring everyone together in one place to celebrate what makes this region so unique,” Falk says. “As a company, we pride ourselves on our relationships with our local makers and celebrating those relationships each and everyday. This culinary festival is just another fantastic opportunity to do so.”
