Hamptons Summer Events 2017

Summertime in the Hamptons is nothing short of magical. From the gorgeous and elegant homes to the calming, majestic waters that surround you, there’s never a shortage of ways to fully enjoy all the area has to offer. Here, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite summer events in the Hamptons.

The Polo Match & Event

The Polo Match & Event, held in Bridgehampton and sponsored by Porsche, is an annual event cherished by Hamptons locals and city-goers alike. Held on June 24 at the luxurious Southampton Polo Club and limited to 300 guests, the elegant afternoon features champagne, a full open bar, seating, gift bags and hors d’oeuvres – and, of course, some exhilarating horse racing. Wolffer Estate Vineyard

The Wolffer Estate Vineyard is a majestic 55-acre vineyard in Sagaponack that dazzles with a flare of European character. Complete with a Grand Prix field, the Estate Vineyard hosts a number of not-to-be missed events throughout the summer perfect for those hot days and perfect evenings. Besides regular events like yoga in the vines and candlelight wine tastings every Friday night, the Vineyard also hosts an array of special celebrations. For instance, the Long Island Merlot Alliance Wine Release Dinner & Scholarship Fundraiser event on June 17 features a multi-course wine-paired dinner from executive chef Marco Pellegrini. And on July 17, the James Beard Foundation’s Chefs & Champagne event at the Vineyard brings together honoree and James Beard Award-winning chef Marcus Samuelsson for this annual swanky Hamptons fundraiser and tasting party. Along with Wolffer Estate wines, more than 40 fine chefs will also be on hand to whip up savory bites. To learn more about these fabulous events at the Vineyard, visit wolffer.com.

Hamptons Heart Ball

The 21st Annual Hamptons Heart Ball on June 10, in association with the American Heart Association, is one of the biggest summer social gatherings in the Hamptons, featuring a fabulous auction and an elegant evening of dinner, dancing, live music and a cocktail hour. Held at the Southampton Arts Center, this year’s Ball will honor Drs. Lori and Ralph S. Mosca, of Columbia University and New York University respectively. In 2016, the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball Campaign raised over $71 million toward funding life-saving research and heart-healthy education programs. To purchase tickets, click here.
